Mary Kathryn Smith
It was the summers spent with her grandparents on Savannah’s waterways that called her to move from Atlanta to Savannah almost a decade ago. Those summers spent exploring barrier islands south of Tybee Island sparked an interest in a lifestyle that only Savannah could offer; one that is slower- paced, veiled in moss, and dripping with hospitality. After graduating from Valdosta State University, Mary Kathryn and her husband became very successful business owners and restaurateurs in Savannah and the surrounding area. She found her passion for real estate in the negotiations, build-outs, purchasing and selling of properties for their beloved restaurants. She decided to follow that passion with the goal of blending her love of residential architecture and design into a full-time real estate career with Savannah Realty. Whether you’re searching for a home in Savannah’s world-renowned historic district, need to sell a beach house on Tybee Island, or looking to relocate your family to one of the picturesque neighborhoods in Midtown, Pooler, or Richmond Hill, Mary Kathryn will guide you thought the buying or selling experience with unmatched service and professionalism. Mary Kathryn is affiliated with Savannah Area Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. She is a devoted member of the Historic Savannah Foundation, Georgia Historical Society, Telfair Museums, and Savannah Downtown Business Association. When not showing homes, Mary Kathryn and her husband Chris spend free time boating on the Intracoastal Waterway or walking their Labrador, Patty, through the downtown squares where they live, work and play in the heart of the historic district.
